I've been a Bike Guy all my life. All kinds of bikes interest me - road, touring, mountain, BMX, tricycles, recumbents, doesn't matter. I've worked in bike shops as a mechanic, salesman, manager, and jack-of-all trades. Since winning my first road race at the age of 15 to road racing in Europe I've always been a fan of bike racing. I must admit I'm old school - I prefer the racers like Merckx who did full programs to one-race specialists. I prefer the Giro d'Italia and the Spring Classics to the Tour de France. Anything with cobbles and wind is fine by me. Hope you enjoy my blog.
